'Heart You' | Scrapbook Layout

Finally! A page that is not about my sons! As a stay-at-home-mother, right now most of my life revolves around my kids, so I am perfectly fine with my scrapbook pages reflecting that, but it's nice to break it up every once in a while. This is actually an older photo of my husband and myself, but it's one of my faves. As I state in the journaling, I feel like it shows our personalities perfectly. Myself, more serious and 'proper', and him, just a big goof.

I have been memory-keeping in some form or another for a few years now, but have just started making physical, non-pocket scrapbook pages in the last few months. And I am having so much fun! I'm loving getting these photos and stories captured.

I still have a few of those awesome gold-foiled die cut hearts from the Ali Edwards Heart Story Kit, that I am trying to use sparingly. I have been toying with the idea of buying a Minc for months now... and knowing that I could easily make unlimited embellishments like that myself may finally push me over the edge! I think it is going to go on my birthday wish list... if I manage to not but it for myself before then!

And I just bought this awesome Freckled Fawn die to make that gold "xoxo"... Love it!

That awesome background paper is from the Crate Paper Wonder line, and the other layered pieces of paper are just scraps from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!
