Memory Keeping Monday: "Welcome to the World" Scrapbook Layout

*Edited* - I had this post scheduled to post on Monday... but messed up the scheduling, ha! So it's going live on Tuesday. Not off to a great "Memory Keeping Monday" start!

Happy Monday! I'm going to try something different around here - and something that I hope will motivate me to create pages a bit more consistently! I'm going to have a "Memory Keeping Monday" series on my blog, and aim to share one layout a week. My 2018 Memory Keeping and Crafting Goals included getting 3 layouts/month done, so this should help accomplish that as well.

So for today, I'm sharing a page I made for Austen's baby book. I'm using the Cut Above Layout Kit - The Story Begins (Baby Boy) from Close to my Heart. I love this option to get some pages made quickly and easily. (PS - right now, the Baby Girl version of this is on sale for our "Pretty in Pink" sale going on during February! Check out my shop here!)

Here is my layout with the first couple of pictures after Austen was born :)

I really love how this kit comes with all the components to make some 'fancy' looking pages - I would never take the time to actually cut out the large circles for pages - so I appreciate that it comes with all the pieces ready to pop out and just put on your page!

I'm usually into gold or rose gold, but I'm loving the silver embellishments lately!

Thanks for stopping by, and hopefully you'll find me back here next Monday, with a new page! ;)
