"Peek-a-boo, I See You..." | Scrapbook Layout

This layout started out a little differently than most of my other layouts do... typically, I have a photo or story that I want to document, and I use some sort of sketch to go with that. This time, I was following along with a prompt from the Simple Scrapper Fall Retreat, that asked us to use a photo of a layout that was posted from the person in front of us, as inspiration for our page. So in this case, my starting point was using strips of paper on my layout. With that in mind, I thought up a page design, then took a look through my stack of photos waiting to be scrapped to find one I could use. A totally backwards process for me!

And this is what I ended up with! I'm happy to say that how my page turned out was pretty much what I was envisioning in my head! Which I was impressed with... usually I am pretty reliant on sketches to complete a page.

Most of the supplies I used are from the older "Little You" collection from Crate Paper. I love that wooden chevron background paper! I'm so pleased with how this page turned out. And it's fun getting some older photos and memories documented. This picture is from over 5 years ago already! How time flies...

I hope you have a great week, and thanks for stopping by!
