"Hello Merida!" | Scrapbook Layout

Hi again! I'm back! It's been a busy last couple of weeks, but I'm ready to get back into a routine again. The month of November is typically the busiest time of year for my part-time job, so I've been working more hours than usual. As well, last weekend was my little brother's wedding!! And all four of us were a part of the wedding party, so it was extra busy! So there has been basically no creating going on up to this point in November, unfortunately, so I'm looking forward to playing around with some paper this week!

In the meantime, I'm sharing a page that I actually created a while ago (but never posted), but , I actually went back a couple of weeks ago and changed it around a bit. When I originally made it I used a plain, cream background paper, but it was a pretty yellow-y cream. Plain white seemed to stark for the photos/papers I chose, but every time I looked at this page, the cream was killing me. I hated it. So I went through my stash and found an off-white patterned background that I thought would look better. I'm so much happier with how this page looks now. Such a subtle change made a big difference (to me anyways...)

This page is for my Disney album, and it is when we met Merida! Brave is one of my favourite Disney movies and Merida is one of my top favourite princesses, and actually the first princess we have ever met, despite our many Disney trips! She was so much fun, and I loved our interaction with her, and so did the boys! She was talking to them about her mischievous brothers, and asking if they were mischievous brothers. It was so cute, and they gave her the biggest hug at the end.

This "Be brave" card that I found (a cut apart from a Crate Paper collection - Wonder maybe????) was just too perfect for this page! As was the little bear sticker from Shimelle's Little By Little collection. I love how this layout turned out - it's one of my favourites.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope you have a great week!
