"Yer a Wizard, Austen!" | Scrapbook Layout

This page was inspired by the Stash Bash week recently held in the Simple Scrapper membership. This is a week of daily encouragement to declutter, get more organized, and use the stash you have. I'm feeling pretty good with where my stash is at organization-wise, so I wanted to focus on using my stash this week, and more specifically, items that have been sitting around for a while.

One of those items was the Kelly Purkey "Potterhead" stamp set I've had for a few years that I hadn't gotten around to using yet! Most of my pages start with a photo or story I want to tell, but this page was totally inspired by wanting to use that stamp set, and I'm so happy with how it turned out!

I even busted out my rarely-used Tim Holtz stamp platform to stamp each image multiple times to get them extra dark and saturated. For the "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" stamp I lightly stamped that multiple times in the background to add a bit more visual interest (it's harder to see in the picture) - and I like the added effect as it mimics how the Maurader's map disappears as well :)

I also used Simple Scrapper sketch #394 for my page design.

I'm super happy with how this layout turned out! It's even better than I was picturing in my head, for once! Thanks to Stash Bash for prompting me to use this stamp!

And thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!
