Life Captured 2020 Photobook | January Pages

Hi again! It's been a while, but today I'm back to share my first pages for what I'm calling my "Life Captured" 2020 photobook. It's taking inspiration from various 'Project Life' or yearly documentation projects that are out there. As alluded to in previous posts on this blog, I've done (and attempted with some partially completed years) some version of this project many times. This year I am planning on mixing various styles to create my own version.

My plan is to do this project monthly - flagging photos and jotting down stories as the month goes, then beginning to compile all the pages at the end of the month. My plan right now is to hopefully use the same basic page layouts month after month to keep consistency and so that I'm not re-inventing the wheel, but my photos and stories will somewhat dictate that. My aim is to keep it pretty simple with the focus on photos and journaling. The only real embellishments I plan on using are some digital stamps here and there.

When the year is over and I (hopefully!!) have 12 months' worth of pages, I plan to print this as an 8.5x11" photobook.

So, those are my plans, and here are my January pages:

I'm really happy with all the photos and stories, big and small, that made it onto these pages, and I'm so looking forward to continuing on throughout the year!

Thanks for stopping by!
